Couples Therapy

In-person only

In couples therapy, I give both partners space in a non-directive and non-judgmental way. I will facilitate discussion between partners to hopefully get them talking to one another, rather than me, with the aim of transferring that openness outside of sessions. I will not “take sides” or determine “who’s right” when it comes to disagreements or arguments, but will redirect those questions back to the couple in a way that is more useful. For couples struggling with any or all of the following:

  • Communication

    “Talking past” one another, talking about emotions and problems constructively, frequent arguments.

  • Intimacy

    Changes in libido, having children, co-dependence, trust.

  • Parenting

    Disagreements about practices, effects of divorce, co-parenting, family blending, new parenthood.
